Bryce Canyon

The Navajo loop trail.

We hiked at Zion,
Then in a canyon
Where Ebenezer lost his cow.
Into a love undyin’
I fell for you,
as you said ciao.

You cut and run
While my affection had just begun.
Ain’t no fun,
Look what I’ve done
Made a romance for one.

We were meant to keep going
But my mistakes pushed you away.
Now I’m left unknowing
If we can have another day.

At the garden of a queen,
And through the hoodoos
In the fondness of each scene,
Is a passion for me to lose.

I waltz down Wall Street
And serenade up the Navajo
Finding in the cold, a heat
From long ago.

Wandering Bryce
Wondering if our dance
Could come twice.
And why perchance,
I did what I’d done
Made a romance
for one.

Queen’s Garden trail.
Ebenezer Bryce would lose his cows in the canyon.
On the way back from Wall Street.
On the Navajo loop.
Heading toward Two Bridges.
In nearby Zion National Park.
